Recommended Cleaning of Rope Cinches, Girths, Breast Collars & Reins

This is a recommendation only. All products, cleaners, procedures and recommendations should be tested by the user before proceeding.

Montana Cincha LLC assumes no liability for the cleaning of any products or

product performance after cleaning.

Montana Cincha LLC recommends that if cleaning our mohair, mohair blend, wool blend and polyester rope/cord cinches, girths, breast collars or reins (products) is required, it be done in the following manner:

Hand wash only, using cold water and a very mild detergent, only.

While cleaning, use as little agitation as possible to get the product clean.

While Woolite TM brand detergent may work well for this, you should test all detergents first for compatibility.

Do not scrub the products.

After hand washing, rinse well then hang the products by both buckles so the water drips towards the middle of the girth to dry in a well-ventilated area, with dry air moving around the entire product. Leave hung until dry.

Machine washing of any of our products is not recommended.

If rope or strand fraying, breakage or untying occurs, or the product is damaged in any way, Do NOT use the product.
